Abeer Shoukry-Al Otaiba is the visionary Founder and CEO of Otaiba Investments. Since founding the firm in 2020, Abeer has leveraged her engineering and entrepreneurial background to drive innovative opportunities in frequently overlooked regions. Abeer also serves as the CEO of her luxury fashion brand, SemSem. She also served as the Honorary Chair of the Board of Directors for the Hope for Henry Foundation. From civil engineering and fashion design to charity and business development, her diverse professional experience and leadership have been instrumental in the firm’s mission to invest in transformative ideas that inspire change and foster impact.
Amr Shoukry is the Vice President of Business Development for Otaiba Investments. In addition to this role, he is an active member of the SPECTRUM Group and Founder of KS McLean Consulting FZE. With more than 20 years of experience in international trade and global commerce, his extensive background helps drive impactful investment opportunities and strategic partnerships. Determined to invest in people and ideas that will truly change the world for the greater good, Amr plays a key role in managing the firm’s initiatives and growth.
Mustafa Abdel-Wadood is the Founder and CEO of Equidius, bringing 30 years of experience as a global investor and operator in emerging markets. He actively deploys capital in private opportunities and commercial partnerships worldwide. Mustafa has overseen more than $10 billion in private equity investments and numerous successful exits across over 35 countries. Previously, he served as Global Head of Private Equity at The Abraaj Group and held key roles at EFG-Hermes and Orascom Group. He was also named one of the World Economic Forum’s “100 Global Leaders for Tomorrow.”
